"To become a master in any skill, it takes the total effort of your: heart, mind and soul working in tandem.  -Maurice Young

Let me start with sharing that I am an 80's child who was born in Santa Ana, California. I grew up surrounded by a vibrate culture, with style and music to engulf any young mind. Southern California is the perfect melting pot to build an amazing foundation with a colorful palette to any child’s imagination, especially with it’s rich history and all the roots that come from so many different subcultures. I am also a first generation, bilingual, Salvadoran-American and I am the oldest out of 3 children.

One thing that I am so proud to be able to say is that my father and grandfathers had such a great influence on me. I have always admired their passion and craftsmanship in working with their hands...from carpentry, metal, and upholstery work. Growing up around schematics and designs that were drawn out for work projects that would be laying around the house, encouraged me to use my creativity and hone in on a skill set.

I left California and headed to Las Vegas, Nevada with my father in 1996 when my parents decided to end their relationship. Living in Las Vegas during my teen years brought a ton of struggles, not only from going through a difficult transition but also coming into a new city that has completely different energies, dynamics, and a completely different sense of living.

Las Vegas has a place they call “Naked City” that is located near the Stratosphere Casino, the heart of the city. I promise, it’s not the glamorous place that you would imagine by it’s name...it’s actually a place that’s known for it’s poverty and high crime rates.
That’s where I grew up. Thankfully, as a teen and in my own ignorance, I never seen a difference and I am blessed to say that I had a lot of fun continuing to grow up there.

As I grew and was trying to find myself throughout my high school years, I was introduced to Graffiti. You can say it was all downhill from there...in a great way! Graffiti provided the perfect culture for me to explore Las Vegas and see the city from a different angle. I spent so much of my time doing Graffiti and was able to retain so much knowledge within it, that it laid out such an incredible foundation for me and introduced me in to the world of tattooing through circles of friendships.

I started my apprenticeship in 2012 and I haven’t looked back since. Tattooing has given me a sense of belonging, it’s apart of who I am. Prior to tattooing, I never found anything so magical that was able to grasp my attention like putting my art out there in the world for people to wear. I am so grateful to have a career that has allowed me to travel and work all throughout the United States. I’ve had the privilege to work alongside some of Las Vegas most renowned artists and the honor to work out of the well respected, Heritage Tattoo in Las Vegas.

Currently, I reside in Seattle, Washington where I get to tattoo in Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. I am so excited to start a new chapter in my journey, with new surroundings where I’m inspired to grow more outside of my boundaries and provide an even more incredible experience to my clients.

I am humbled and so grateful for every single person who has allowed me to work with them, who has trusted me, and who has contributed to my growth throughout the years. I’ve met some of the most amazing people from all different walks of life and I’m looking forward to meeting a ton more on my journey.

Thank you for all your support and I hope I get the honor of working with you too.
This is only the beginning
